The video, Understanding and Using the Michigan Comprehensive Needs Assessment, was developed over the summer of 2007. The Nims Elementary School staff (Muskegon Public Schools) engaged in using the CNA to assess their schools strengths and challenges in the area of student achievement and their schools system practices that support student academic achievement. The video is intended to serve as an example of how a school staff can use the Comprehensive Needs Assessment to guide and inform their continuous school improvement work.
