The McComb (MS) School District began it's coordinated school health program (CSHP)out of a community consensus to dramatically improve the health, social, and academic outcomes and experiences for children in the district's public schools. Spearheaded by Dr. Pat Cooper, the McComb Healthy Schools Project aims to coordinate school health programs and services to meet the needs of children and families. The video outlines the district's CSHP efforts, and the positive health and educational outcomes realized by their children and families.
