Michigan is changing the way we calculate graduation and dropout rates. Monday, August 25, 2008, the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI), the state`s educational data agency, will release the graduation and dropout rates for the class of 2007. For the first time, Michigan will use the four-year cohort graduation rate which meets the guidelines provided by the National Governors Association Graduation Counts Compact for calculation of such rates.
