MI
Streamnet uses the free QuickTime Player version 7 application and web browser
plug-in for all streaming assests. You also need Internet Explorer for Windows or Safari for Mac OS X.
Your
Quicktime settings may be set at their default settings, which
may prohibit you from properly streaming video at its full data
rate, or not at all.
To fix this, select your Operating Sysytem and Quicktime version
and perform the outlined processes:
MI Streamnet offers RSS feeds of both Recent Events and Upcoming Events. To subscribe, you can click on the RSS icon in your web browser's address bar or navigation area.
To view Live and On Demand events on MI Streamnet, you will need the free QuickTime Player application, version 7.0 or higher, and a broadband internet connection. For additional viewing instructions, download this PDF file.
Since Live events occur at a specific time, viewers should test their connection a few days before the event by selecting 'Live Video Stream' from the left navigation area. There is usually a test stream from Annenberg CPB, and if you can view this test stream, you will be able to view the Live event. If you have trouble, see the 'Tech Support' section.
