This series of lectures from the 2010 MACUL conference addresses the potential for educators to marshal social networking media and new technologies to their advantage in the classroom. It helps teachers understand the uses of these tools for immediate assessment, communication, and the development of complex problem solving skills.  These sessions will help school staff to begin to grapple with and tackle the difficult questions of their own preconceptions, boundaries for technology use, and how these technologies and the behaviors that surround them will impact instruction over the next five to ten years.
